A LIABILITY WAIVER must be signed to ensure that the player understands the rules and potential hazards of using a VR system.

Absolutely! You can book as many sessions as you’d like as long as we have available space.

You can split your time up any way you like. Just remember that every person playing does need to have a signed waiver.

Of course. At VRCade, we have access to dozens of VR games that you may not own but also we offer a lot of hardware that amplifies the usual VR experience like massive playspaces, high quality gun-stock add-ons for VR shooters, a cable system mounted from the ceiling to allow far more freedom to your movement. It’s also a great place for you to join your friends for VR parties, tournaments, and even room-escape and 3D Charades competitions.

Absolutely, please note that walk-in bookings are subject to room availability. Therefore, we cannot guarantee you will be able to play a room during a walk-in. Please email us at vrcadeqld@gmail.com or give us a call at (07) 3557 1939 to check on the room availability for that day.

A refund can only be issued if you made your booking online with us and is canceled at least 24 hours before the time of your booking. Cancellations within 24 hours of your booked start time can be rescheduled or be provided full credit; no refunds. Bookings made over the phone will be charged for the number of participants initially booked and standard refund policies still applied. Please note, refunds are processed at the end of the month and it will take 3 – 5 business days for it to appear on your statements.

The VR Headset has enough space to accommodate most glasses. We do recommend contacts if possible.

We recommend casual wear. Some games require more movement than others and will make you sweat. No hats should be worn while using the VR headset.

Participants who are under the age of 14 must have an adult or guardian present. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver. Some children may not be able to properly wear the VR headset, we suggest 8 as the youngest but everyone is different. Height is mostly a non-issue, unless you’re around nine feet tall, then you may hit our sensors.

If it’s your first time doing VR, we recommend that you arrive 15-20 minutes early so that you can work with one of our trained staff and learn all the ins and outs of VR and get straight into your session promptly. If you’ve done VR before, please arrive 10 minutes early to make sure your waiver is in just fine.

10 feet by 10 feet (3 meters by 3 meters).

Grid lines in the VR system will appear when you are near the edge of the playspace. These will warn you when you are close to the real walls.

We offer a variety of games and experiences and the staff is well versed on them all. They will be able to talk with you and find out what you’re comfortable with.

Feel Free! If you have your own Steam account with your own library of VR experiences, then you’re more than welcome to sign into your personal account and play! Just remember that the more time you spend logging in, the less time you’ll have to play! Come Early to log into your account

Sure thing. If there’s a free station available when you come in then we can get you set up to try our demo which lasts between 5-15 minutes. Then, if you like it and want to stay in longer, we can get you into a full session at a discounted rate.

Virtual Reality is the future of entertainment and social interaction and will play massive roles in the medical field, engineering, and many other areas of our lives every day. At VRCade, we have a trained staff to help you find the right experience for you, whether that is fighting off a horde of zombies, painting 3D art all around your body, or playing amplified versions of your favorite sports..

We do sell some drinks (bottled water, bottled sodas, bottled Gatorade, Red Bull) (we do not sell alcohol) and some snacks (energy bars). If you bring your own, please bring drinks in bottles that can be resealed and food that doesn’t stick to your hands. No bringing alcohol.
